I finally got around to benching a bit on the latest build but seriously, what's up with no AA setting? Did someone forget to tell Blizzard this is 2010 and not 1996?
At 1920x1200(or higher) do you really need AA? I mean it's not like it's an FPS where you sit and snipe in one position. I run on all Ultra and I can barely notice the difference without REALLY being nit picky.

If anyone's interested, L2SC is hosting a lan party for the launch of SC2. Lan is August 7th in Vancouver, details here at
L2SC Presents L3
and at our site l3.l2sc.net external

Look forward to seeing people from Hardware Canucks scene show up.

I need to pre-order. Anyone got a good place to pre-order? Best Buy has $5 off while EB has a free gift.

I pre-order at Amazon. Fastest service i've had and ships with Post Canada, which is good for me.

Tried a couple of times with best buy and often had slow service, out of stock and long time before shipping. I won't forgive them their 2 weeks delay for Batman AA. I had to cancel my order and switch to Amazon, where they shipped it the day after.

Of course, if you don't mind your bandwith, best is digital copy, if there's one for SC2

I'll be preordering at EB Games/Gamestop since I have a $20 gift card for it. You could use the CD key you get with your retail copy and DL the client through Blizzard I'm assuming, like you can do with all of their other games.

Digital Purchasing - Information - Battle.net

Digital Download that will go live the moment the game is officially released. In fact if I am understanding it correctly you can pre load it now.

Edit: Looks like you can download it now, but won't be able to install it until 07/27/2010 10:00 AM PDT (13:00 EDT)

You can only download the installer, you still have to download some stuff before playing, no?

Will it be 60$ US from Blizz?
