Default deus ex aniversary steam sale

both DX1 and 2 are on sale for $2.50 on steam. If you haven't played the first one, here's your chance to buy a masterpiece for a price that's practically stealing.

I've never played the 2nd one since everyone tells me it's a bastardized illegitimate retarded son of the original. Can anyone who played it give an opinon on whether it is worth getting at $2.50?

I enjoyed it. definately not as deep as DX1, but worth a play though if you enjoy the series.

I played it as well and I found it entertaining as well. I'm waiting patiently for the next one which is under development.

Steam has some unbelievable deals some times. I remember downloading the demo to IW when it came out and it ran like crap on my PC so I didn't like it. I think it is safe to say that my PC today can handle it, so I will give it another shot. Even if its bad, its just 2.50 for god's sake.

I played the first Deus Ex for about an hour one time when it was new. I'll play it for real now. How does it hold up visually? Are there any good high res mods on the go?

The second one is average/good, while the first one is excellent. 90% of games released since ~2006 are bad/average. Having said that, $2.50 is a good deal for the second volume.
