Star Wars Galaxies (pre-NGE)

starwars galaxies doesnt deserve to be on a best list, sorry. its one of the worst mmos ever imo. That being said, glad someone finally mentioned bf 1942/bf2/bf2142! I think more people need to play Plants vs zombies, its a great game. grand theft auto 4 is great as well if you havnt ever played it.

The Max Payne series should be mentioned here as well. Still the only games to get both bullet-time and the Noir feel right.

Doom with Doomsday engine. OpenGL graphics! Makes the game much better :)

My all-time fave would have to be either Perfect Dark or Day of Defeat: Source though. Very high replayability!

I happen to like an old PS1 game called Andretti Racing. Ratchet and Clank for PS3. Any God of War for the PS. The old Contra series from Nintendo was pretty good as well,played this for hours,lol. Still pretty lousy at playing PC games though, so can't really say yet, though the graphics in Devil May Cry 4 is pretty darn good. The new DX11 games are friggin' awesome!!!

I don't see why SWG (Pre-NGE) wouldn't be on the best list. It was the best MMO I have ever played. It had the best pvp system, best crafting system, best merchant system, best housing system, best player city system, best skill tree system. The game was great, I would still be playing it today had they not decided to become a WoW clone. I wouldn't even be considering SW:TOR.
