Default remember that fallout 3 problem i had last year?

well, after making another post on gfwl about my problem, i actually got a call from a tech support guy.

he asked if he could replicate the problem on his end (asked for my password...), so, instead of just giving some dude my password over the phone, i had him give me a reference number and his name, then i called the number for gfwl support.

so that checked out, i changed my pw, gave it to him (i still felt weird about that), in the endhe was able to replicate the problem, he gave me 800 points that the system stole, and i was able to purchase the DLC finally, and have it downloaded.

unfortunately, ten minutes before this lol, i purchased the goty edition from steam for 25 dollars.

either way, having a version on steam that i can download as much as i want and having the other 2 dlc i didn't have before is still a good buy.

either way, i was extremely surprised that i actually got a call from someone, and they were so willing to help.

ray of sunshine on gfwl.

Interesting, you mean there is actually a human being somewhere across the planet that manages to service some component of GFWL? Blows my frickin mind. Seriously, I chalked that junk up to be abandoned, force fed, bloatware ages ago. Not bad, a tech support issue resolution only a year later! With service like that I may actually change my mind about GFWL, lol.

Well I am glad for you nonetheless Brian. Cheers. :)

Why didn't you try calling MS tech support in the first place?
