My System Specs

Default Looking for some eye candy

So it feels like a waste to only use my GTX 470 for some part time folding, so I'm looking for some games with some serious eye candy.

To give a rough idea of my tastes here are the games I've played b4 and actually enjoyed: Command and Conquer,(pretty much all the early ones) Diablo1&2, Empire Earth, Counterstrike,(up to 1.6) Guild Wars, Company of Heroes, Team Fortress, Starcraft, Super Smash Bros, Diddy Kong racing, Banjo Tooie, Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario Land

I like shooters, but they all feel the same to me so I can't justify buying one unless it's got insanely good graphics. I've been feeling a little slow in the micro management department lately, so RTS's will be avoided unless they're THAT good. Games should also be multiplayer.

I plan on getting at least some of the sequels to the Blizzard classics and that Magic The Gathering game that's on sale for $10.

Now I've been out of the gaming scene for a while (newest games are 4-5 years old) so I have no clue what kind of games will give me eye candy and meet most of the requirements.

If you like Company of Heroes, try Dawn of War 2 on for size.

For shooters i'd say right now also try Bad Company 2

Fallout 3, Crysis, Metro 2033, Bad Company 2, Starcraft 2(when it comes out!), Just Cause 2, GTA IV, Torchlight (Which is made by the guys that made Diablo 1 and 2 but it's NOT multiplayer!), World in Conflict, Resident Evil 5. I could probably continue shooting out different games but you're not really clear on what kind of games you want. You say you like shooters but they're all the same and probably wont buy one unless it's really good, and you say you like RTS but you will stay away from them because your micro is bad, so I don't understand. There arent really many games that are like super eye candy filled and look amazing out for PC right now that I can think of...

I have a gripe against Fallout 3, its a great game to play but once you hit the max level and max everything out some enemies are still scaled a lot higher/harder then they should be for someone maxed to the teeth. Fun to play through just not once you're maxed

Thanks for the suggestions, I made a list of games to check out more in depth/purchase:

D3
SC2
FC2
BF BC2
Dawn of War 2
Napoleon: Total War

I don't think I'll get Metro 2033, but the book it's based on seems good.
