I played a bit of both games and found them both pretty fun. Split/Second felt more interesting to me, but I wouldn't pay money for either game right now.

And yeah, Burnout Paradise is awesome. And so is Mario Kart Wii.

Well if everyone is comparing Blur to Mario Kart isn't that a good thing? Mario Kart was arguably the best arcade racer ever, if something can compare with it then obviously it must be somewhat good.

For my racing I'm playing Mod Nation Racers which I think will probably be the best [arcade] racing game of the year. It's basically the next generation of Mario Kart done right

Definitely looks fun, I even downloaded the demo. BUT I got tired of the excruciating load time. So I never actually played it, lol. Any improvement on the load times yet with your copy?

Just tried the demo of this game....quite fun. I will pick it up when the price goes down though. It is NOT worth 59.99 IMHO.

Sorry...was talking about the Xbox 360 version so that I can play my friends that have it.

Is BLUR for the PC a Live game like Dirt 2 is?

Nope, it uses its own style of login.

Btw, I'm getting horrible fps. Like <20 with my budget I system. Is my CPU the bottleneck?

Blur seems to be pretty damn rough to run. I get major slowdowns on my machine, and I don't even have it near max settings.

Just tested my Budget II system. Man it is so much more smoother. But Blur seems to like tonnes of core, my 720BE is constantly at ~90% usage.
