Lots of demos of the new games - and they look good!
Man, I guess christmas is on the horizon - and I'm lovin' it
I downloaded a bunch of demos tonight and they were all good!
Call of duty 4 - I have the COD War Chest, so like any fan of the Call of Duty series, I've killed more (computer generated) germans than the Canadian 1st regiment. This is a must buy for me..:thumb:
TimeShift - Sierra takes F.E.A.R. to another level - I was feelin' this game - very pretty
and speaking of F.E.A.R. - they have the new demo for that too!!! Perseus Mandate is the next installment and its another "must buy" for me. F.E.A.R. is one of my favourite game online and the single player experience is awesome - as I'm sure many of you know first-hand.
Painkiller Overdose demo - If you haven't played Painkiller, then you have yet to experience the thrill of impaling an un-dead zombie with a 2ft stake at fifty yards. Apparently this was a mod that was adopted by the game makers and, voila, new weapons, and baddies to kill!
Unreal Tournament 3 demo - its good - keeps the "feel" of the UT series and is just a fun game to play if you like FPS
I've also checked out Medal of Honour Airborne (its good, but too much motion blur, however, I'd pick it up in the bargain bin) demo, the London Hellgate demo (still undecided) and the Quake wars ET demo (didn't like it, sorry)
Overall, though, (especially with Crysis & Farcry 2 on the horizon) it seems like there will be lots of quality FPS to keep me occupied during the holiday season.
Anyone been checking out any other demos?
The CoD4 demo was alright. I was somewhat upset over its duration for a 1.4GB download. But it was more of a tech demo for my laptop to me anyway.
