I'm tempted to get it for 20% off at d2d, but really don't want another TF2/Borderlands/CSS clone. The 'spray n pray' theory might be true. Maybe I'll wait for a sale. But I do like the coop gameplay of Borderlands... Direct2Drive

Thanks to thenewguy001, you can use the code hailtothechief on D2D and get 20% off Brink this weekend. I just might do that.
edit: I prefer to use a site like this to get feedback on a game, instead of the official forums where most people are biased or fanboys, but wow it's quiet in here. I never was a big fan of ET:QW so I think I'm gonna pass on this one.

I find it really interesting how they are offering different pre-order perks and collectibles depending on where you pre-order from. Steam offers a Spec Ops pack, Direct2Drive / Amazon offers a "psycho pack", Gamestop offers a DOOM themed pack, and Bestbuy and GAME offers a Fallout themed pack. Each has it's own unique weapons and armor. I'm a steamaddict, but d2d's pack is oh-so-tempting. I wonder if they will ever implement a trade system?
It requires steam no matter where you buy from. So you could buy it from D2D and get the preorder stuff from them and still activate it on steam. Plus D2D often has sales where you get 20% off even on preorders.
