Starcraft 2 Beta - End of the month

It was clear that readers showing up for our live blog of the Activision Blizzard earnings call were interested in one thing: when the closed beta for StarCraft 2 was set to begin. It took a while to get there, but we were provided a solid answer. The beta will begin before the end of the month, with the game itself set for release in the middle of 2010.

If this is 4-6 months on the Blizzard calendar we are looking at around 2 years on the earth calendar.

Finally, the game I've been waiting 10 years for. So will they be releasing keys at all or just those that got the keys like 3 years ago at Blizzcon will have access?

You need to take the activision factor into account now. DNF may hit beta first.

How is the simplest way to get into this beta im excited for its release and want to test drive it

Well i remember joining the blizzard community with registration of other blizzard games (simply need a starcraft, diablo or warcraft cd key) and there was an option to get notified for beta releases. It might be the way to test the beta?

Yeah thats what I did to but im worried I won't receive one I want to make sure that I can secure a key for myself

I recall the same thing when I registered my blizzard games you had to submit your dxdiag or something like that.

Ill believe it when I see it lol. I mean the US managed to break the racial barrier for government entirely before this bloody game came out.
