I'd play with that drive and get it running again. Seems to be that half the time you can get a bad HD to boot up one last time though a variety of ways.

i requested RMA yesterday, the method i saw for fixing this one seems pretty confusing to me.

And to be honest, most of the games i play super frequently save profiles online, like BF2, team fortress 2 etc.

and for the files i did lose, it's mostly games that i already beat and if i played again would be starting new anyways.

so i'm just gonna reinstall mass effect and try make that face again, because after hours of trying, i am confident that it is impossible to recreate that face using mass effect 2s face creator.

no one likes a douche.

also, as a update, i RMA'd the hard drive, and because it failed as a result of the bad firmware, i was offered free Data recovery (in otherwords, they are paying the shipping and handling and flashing it themselves).

Either Contribute something or don't say anything. Making fun of someone elses misfortune is not tolerated.

Because this post and your last one are really really stupid and you sound like a 12 year old kid, I'm going to use the ignore feature on you since I just learned how to use this feature last night. Buhbye!

Mass Effect 1 and 2 don't have the exact same faces and features, so there are some faces that you can only get through ME1.

yea, it wasn't possible at all.

hopefully i can get the drive back in working order (seagate is covering the repair as it was a firmware issue, so they should be able to give it back in 100% working order with all the data)
