Wing Commander! I loved the SNES version because it had a story and you could look up the roster to see how many kills you have and who is the best pilot etc. Also it was neat to see how people you flew with eventually die and there was a somber attitude at the bar or whatever. Same reason why I liked the game Wings that was made by cinemaware.

Freelancer. The best space game I have ever played! Wasn't complicated to play, and was fun.

Tie Fighter

Street Rod. Was a neat game in its time. You could change engine parts and transmissions etc.

SNES version was likely the worst one

Did you play WC1, WC2, or Privateer at all?

starwars games, from the good era of lucas arts.
Deus ex1

and WingCommander which will not run at all. I tried running it 5 years or so, so fast it was unplayable... Loved that game was one of my first.

Got another one that not too many people played from way back in the PS1 days: Colony Wars.

What a great story and good action.

I would love to see Mech Warrior III return.

Yeah, that game is great, especially with the Distant Stars mod installed. It provides quite a different experience from MOO2, but is equally fun. I wonder if in another 10 years, someone will be making a similar thread and we will be posting that we would love to see Sins of a Solar Empire remade.
