This is why I don't play FPS games and stick pretty well to RPGs (and even those I only chose open ended ones)...... I want to squeeze a minimum of 60+ hours of gameplay out of my hard earned cash or I won't spend it. :)

Enjoy though, and don't forget to stop and "smell" the flowers. (well at least stop and have a good look around at the graphical awesomeness.... :) ).

Heh, few hours ago I heard CBC News Sunday Night or w/e it is, was mentioning Halo 3. So, I ended up waiting through almost the entire show just to see a tiny little bit near the end.. At least I think it was near the end. I don't think that little amount of useless information was worth it really. :\

I certainly won't be buying an xbox 360 _just_ to play Halo 3 with a gamepad though. I would need to be very much interested in many other available games and have a keyboard+mouse, wheel and joystick.
However that is a different issue and I am still dealing with my Racer, SoFII, UT99 and FreeSpace 2 addictions anyway. :P

We have all the time on earth dude! Even if you play the game years later, it'll still be good

I completely agree! Just because a game is old does not mean it can't be enjoyable.
/me likes to boot up one of his 8Mhz 68000 Macintosh Pluses (1986-1990) then play starwars (anybody remember this? http://www.vectronicsappleworld.com/.../starwars.html ) and shufflepuck after a quick chat on an IRC channel. :) Well, to be honest I don't use IRC clients on them much but it is fun to do that sort of thing now and then. ;)
