Yes there is alot of BS with this release, but considering how many 1000s of hours ive put into the first one, I will be buying it (hopefully they dont screw it up as bad as it seems.) I would like to see it in the benchmarks, as it looks pretty demanding, and I will be comparing my hardware to others based partly on how it performs in mw2.

Price is $69.99 in Canada? There's another knock against it.

It's like an egotistical social experiment. The price is higher than what most PC games are priced at. I don't mind Steam, but D2D and others have rejected the game because it forces the install of a competitor's product. No console, no dedicated servers, 9vs9 max, so and so forth.

"How much can we control and restrict while still selling insane numbers? Look how awesome we must be!"

...include it in the benchmarks but rename it as "recent popular FPS console to PC port"

This game has come into the "just say no category"

I seriously doubt any graphical improvements have been made on the PC side that would lend itself to be included as a PC review benchmark.

It seems more like they will cut so much that the PC gamers abandon them and then they can say "PC games don't sell". Hey, any way to cut costs, right?

Look at what Ubisoft did to the Rainbow 6 francise (that's where CoD's going). Then take a look at the games that they expect to be their most profitable earners this holiday season. Gamings gone the way of Hollywood and the music industry, cater to the biggest market, screw eveybody else, reap the highest profit. Now I've got nothing against profits, but it seems that games in the old days that were profitable, were actually good and didn't just sell well because of paid advertising, bought off reviews and social networking schills.

bah, I'm ranting again...

@ SKYMTL and Dr_BenD_over

You're so right. They're trying to get the people to go to console. It's pure advertisement now. I can always go back to the classics and play the games over. With games today? Not so much.

There's also the fact that people are wanting to become more portable, so instead of buying a desktop, they buy a cheap laptop for office apps and movies, and then a console for gaming. It sucks, but that's just the way it goes really.

Last time I checked a 52 inch 1080p plasma or LCD television is not any more portable than a computer.

Cheers!
