Grenades! Yes! I think it was at level 13 when I found a nade upgrade that made it a sticky that would only detonate when contacting an enemy. So from there on in I've been tossing out a nade between myself and a "big guy" giving him a few crits to the head and laughing when gets all chunky from running into the nade

This sounds like gay porn, toss in a Turkish snowcone and you have a winner.

Yup, the grenade sometimes throws him back far enough to give you time to reload, drop your turret(Roland) and set another grenade. Then you unload again.

One thing I do like is all the little numbers jumping out of the caracters when I unload at them and they catch fire and all... makes me laugh everytime, I dont know why.

I played this game with one of my friends in co-op for quite a while yesterday and I love it! I am currently a level 17 hunter, and my friend is a level 17 Siren. I headshot their shield off from far away with one of my various snipers, and then he goes into the stealth mode thing and pops up behind them, melees them and then blasts them with this epic shotgun we found at a boss. Or I set up my revolver load-out (three revolvers ftw) and we just go in western style! The game is 100x more fun playing in co-op. Each character has its own advantage/disadvantage, but you never feel weak using something your class wasn't meant for. I can easily pick up a shotgun or a sub machine gun and charge right in, or sit back and pick of enemies while my friend distracts them. If you are finding it a bit tricky but you are normally decent with FPSs, just wait until you get the revolvers because they are badass!

Ya this game is a lot of fun! I made it up to Lvl 7 Hunter and have a decent Sniper rifle, actually found a bunch but this one deals the most damage, but it is a bit slow on the reload. Luckily my Nasty Pistol whips out in no time and can unload whoopass! I even found an elemental pistol already too. I got a 'nade upgrade called MIRV that causes grenades to keep exploding into smaller grenades and spread carnage abroad. :)

Despite all this coolness I wasn't able to get passed the 1st boss (Bonehead or Bone face or whatever his name is) last night before retiring. I think I'll grind some more and level up a bit as these respawns are costing me a fortune lol.

I like this game so much I am going to load it on my laptop too and either A) start a new game or B) transfer my current game back and forth between the laptop and desktop as needed. Not sure yet as Steam wouldn't let me download Borderlands on my laptop last night, servers were too busy. :(

PM me with your steam names so we can play some Co-op! .... Although I think we're mostly Hunters? (Why oh why do we all love sniping things so much? hehe).

Played for a couple of hours, did a lot of exploring, got up to Level 9, really liking it. I'd recommend to anyone. I'll try some co-op tonight.

holy cow!

I can't find a hard copy of this game anywhere!

Checked EB Games and BestBuy near my work in Burlington - no dice Called a different EB Games yesterday and the guy said Oct 28th for PC - I'll call that one tomorrow again and am going to check Walmart after work

any other suggestions - yes I know about Steam but I don't have a credit card or pay pal account.

I'm still unable to even START this game.

Complete garbage.

I've tried every fix recommended on the forums, and any other I can think of and I still hang at the splash screen.

Worst 60 bucks I've ever spent.
