My System Specs


For the boxes that I've built for WoW gamers, they have been quite happy with a AMD dual core processor, 2 gigs of ram, and a 8800/9800/GTS250 or above.

That pretty much allows them 30+ FPS everywhere at full quality on a 22 inch monitor at it's native resolution.

with my current build gets consistant 60+ FPS in dalaran, however this is on a low pop server and I am only lvl 24 so I cant say what it would be like in onyxias lair

Ok, here is a suggestion. Download the program called CPU-Z, it's available at the link below, others here can vouch for this not being a virus or anything.


Then post screenshots of the various tabs(CPU, motherboard, memory, video) that will give us the complete info on your machine and we should be able to help you better from there.

I highly doubt you have such a low end machine on a 24 inch screen. What resolution you are playing WoW at?

BTW, XP is perfectly fine, no problem there.
I agree. We need to see more so we can figure out you best option. You may not need a new computer but just an upgrade.
