My System Specs

Default Bioshock

Since every other forum has a thread related to the game.

My CAD$0.02: I haven't played the game or demo and am not excited about it whatsoever. I will admit, though, that the game looks very pretty, artistically.

I don't even think my video card is supported!

What do you guys have to say about it?

You basically have to know the history behind the game. System Shock 2 which Bioshock is based around was one of the best RPG/FPS games to exist in the 90s; it was very innovative and difficult for its time. While the graphics weren't all that great the gameplay was awesome and Bioshock follows up with the same game play but 100x better!

Its a must have game for this year.

I have only played the demo, from what I have seen thought he game is awesome. I like how you can equip plasmids in this game and harness all sorts of destruction. You can have an electricity plasmid, which you can use to nuke mobs standing in water, shoot bees out of your hands, fire etc.

Graphic wise, the game is very impressive. I am playing the demo at 1680x1060, with everything cranked, averaging about 45 FPS. I really enjoy the artistic design they went with, the under water city looks like it is straight from the 1930's.

Default just bought it!!

well got it for $49. Was impressed by the demo very stylish and it ran smoothly on high on my system at 1680x1050...so its not all bad news for AMDX2's and the 7900series. Will have to see if the game really does have a complex and engaging story to match its sets and score.

Yup. Came across that article while at work too. I wonder if it is only a problem with the retail game, and not with the Steam version.

Default oh no!

Thats just ruined my day The disk loaded through my steam account and retrieved a patch...didnt read that activation thing. I wonder if the STEAM account has the activation thing too. What a stupid restriction... Guess they are really trying to screw the PC over to get those console games flowing.
