Default The Witcher II: Assassins of Kings

Here's some video of this new game. I enjoyed the first one.

while your link didnt work for me I found the video on youtube.

Let me start off by saying I loved the first game and infact still do. I have also read the first book. I cant wait for this second one.

Now my comments on the video. Looks are amazing, character interaction looked good and combat looked good, UNTIL I saw the quick time events. The only thing I did not like in the first game was in combat when I reached a certain skill level weapon blows started needing to be powered up, now this completely ruined the flow of combat for me, worked for fistfights but not for real fights. Oddly enough this only happened on my first play through. If they are serious about adding quick time events I really hope it involves nothing more than the 2 main buttons on the mouse.

Whatever happens I will be looking forward to it

I hope faces will show emotions now, unlike Witcher 1 and the Witcher 2 alpha video. It's pretty much a standard now.

emotions? What are these you speak of.

Honestly, I didnt even notice they werent there until you said that, ofcourse, Facial emotions arent that important to me, listening to the dialogue generally is more than good enough. I think mass effect did facial emotions and for some reason whenever my character's face smiled, it was so twisted and evil looking that it may of damaged my opinion of it.

Yeah sorry my english is not perfect. I meant facial expression yes. It just find it funny when someone says "oh i'm so sad" or "god i'm angry" and there is absolutely no expression in cutscenes. I'm not asking for realistic expressions, just a little effort, like Bethesda's games.

Sweet.

I guess I should finish the first one. One session my character got drunk/drugged in some wench's cabin while trying to get laid and got slain by some sand worms or something outside. Never bothered playing again.

Empire Total War your men have facial expressions and you can see their moral in their faces. I hate games that don't put enough effort to put facial expression or even have proper mouth movement. It kinda wrecks the immersion.
