Wow that is messed up. I ended up getting it through GOG and haven't run into any issues like that.

I honestly would never buy anything through origin, GOG or steam for witcher 2. GOG is completely DRM free as well. And its well worth having.

If you are buying Witcher 2, get it from GOG. They are the place to get it from considering they are run out of the same building, and the same parent company. And they don't have DRM on their copy.

Not only that, GoG installs the game regularly unlike Steam that requires a completely different folder method which is essentially what effs up every damn patch.

Very much looking forward to the enhanced version coming out. One of the few developers who don't charge for new content. This should have gotten the game awards over Skyrim and one can only hope this enhanced version will sweep the awards for this year.

No, they will charge you tax. Get it anywhere else BUT Steam, (Greenman will likely make you use their Capsule client, which works but I don't recommend it either). (The DRM was removed from all versions in the first patch, of course Steam is still it's own DRM).

And so far it's only 360 that is getting it, which might not be too bad on a big screen tv.

No, the enhanced version will be available for PC players for free provided you own the original W2. Only thing people are unsure of is if its getting the same release date or not.

I can't wait......for the Enhanced Edition to completely break the game like all of the other updates initially did. :S
