Thumbs up CRYSIS 2 Announced!!

On June 1, 2009 EA and Crytek have agreed to go ahead with the developement of another GPU torchering monster, built with the new CryENGINE 3. I would assume that the release date is likey VERY far off from now so there's no need for an ATI 5800 or Nvidia GTX300 series card yet. So save your cash until this thing is released!

One thing here alot of people will boo about. This game is also being developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Hopefully the PC version won't be a port.

Crytek GmbH: Overview

P.S. - I didn't know if this has already been posted or not. I did a quick search and didn't see anything.

Honestly, if the game was a port, even my computer can run it :)

Both games were great (Crysis and Warhead) however dumbing down the CryEngine for consoles is not something I would be advertising if I was Crytek lol.

I've had more fun w/ Crysis than damn near any other FPS out in the past few years, and am very much looking forward to the next installment.

Eh, me three. Yeah, the game had some glaring faults, but it's one of the few FPS's that I actually played through multiple times. And Warhead strongly suggests that they're getting their head out of their asses, and actually paying attention to making the game fun.
