I felt like older games like Burnout Paradise and Flatout 2 that I still play regularly had better feel and control at high speed.

I'll try it again with my 2nd 260GTX in SLI when I get it this week...

Be sure to keep us posted! Yeah, I don't think I'm even going to try out Shift. I think I am prety much done with the NFS series till further notice. But, yeah, I loved most wanted and underground 2!

patch released. Brand new feature added, never seen before in any game, you can now use the mouse in menus. I mean WOW, have you ever seen anything as stunningly brilliant and innovative as that?

/end sarcasm. Patch notes dont comment on any bug fixes or performance increases.

I'm running a 4890 and it lags for me as well, on medium settings, no AA. I dont know what it is, but the cars in general are twitchy and if I go into a spin and try to correct it always, without fault, over corrects so I'm spinning the other way. Probrably just have to turn some settings down or something but its annoying.

Yeah, that's extremely weird! The 4890 is one of the best single cards around. The game is screwed up, not your card. Don't even bother with it!

I found sometimes lagging options go away by disabling one core on a processor..

4890 w/ ci7, everything is 100% fluid on 1920x1200 maxed out. To noobs regarding the veyron - put an aftermarket tranny kit on it and go to tuning options. You may set your own gear ratios :) And use manual >:( if you're still racing on auto.
