Wow funy u brought up activision

I found a game i bought but never opined,called call of duty 4 modern warefare,so i installed it yesterday my son did all the patches 4 me

And i wont play on my rig.I get the iw3mp.exe error vista 64 bit.

So i googled it and treid the fix they said, in my sound options and it still does'nt play.

Go 2 hardwere/sound/record tab/right click window/stero mix appear/then choose enabled/then o.k.

But stero mix does not appear 4 me:help:

Does any one have sumthin else i can try?

Lol, don't like the price, don't buy it. I think $50 is too much for a game as is, but that's just me and my wallet. The price may be justified by costs vs profits, but that doesn't mean I have to pay it. 99% of the time I wait for prices to drop or a Steam sale or something before I buy a game. Unless that game is Bioshock 2 or Half-Life Ep 3.

on the bottom right of yout taskbar, click that speaker icon and then select the thing that says mixer and check if its on "Speakers High Definition Audio Device" I had that error too and I think i fixed it leik that.

funny how people get bent out of shape for $10 raise in price but dont say nothing about having to pay monthly to play WoW.. if the game is good and you like to play it.. then buy it, who cares if its $10 more than the last release. everyone likes to make money, why should activision be any different.

Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 are from Blizzard, owned by Activision. This "boycott" won't last...
