Steam FTW. Great little program. Not a resource hog either. I don't really play many games anymore so I don't know any other companies that distribute online.

I've been using steam since I registered my HL2 retail box. I have also found a few ebay sellers that sell new games. I picked up s.t.a.l.k.e.r new a few months ago for $18 CAN shipped. It's still selling for $29 plus tax at EB games. I'm ordering clear sky for the same price next week. (different seller than the one linked below). Usually takes about 10 days shipping. They're coming from Sweden (or so they say) Seller also has almost perfect feedback.

Shop eBay Canada Store - Budget Games Sweden:: Strategy RTS, Action Adventure

Steam is good, EA Downloader sucks. You have to pay for extended download service with EA, which is still limited to 5 years. AFAIK steam never expires.

Steam is great, never have to leave the house to pick up a game, its always in stock, best of all, you can shop in your underwear. Name me one other retailer you can do this?

Steam is awesome but note that the prices are in US dollars.

Steam here too, Apart from its convenience, steam is also a little cheaper and has some great deals sometimes. But for hard copy games, I think futureshop/best buy makes the cut.

I go to steam first and then Wal Mart second. If it's not at either I'll go out of the way to EB or Future Shop.

But I'm mad at steam because I got Grid last Wednesday and now it's 50% off

Steam, Amazon, Craigslist, Forums

I just look for deals whenever I am in a any store that carries games. Also craigslist and forums are a great place to buy cheap used games too. I have purchased many games this way. If there are certain games you are looking for, post a WTB thread in the BST.

I try not to get my heart set on any specific game but rather have a small collection in the back of my head of games I know I'd like, but refuse to pay full retail for because I am a cheapskate. For instance this weekend I saw Mirror's Edge for $16 (BNIB) at EB games. A hell of a lot better than the $50 they were asking at launch. ;) Oh!... and I bought Supreme Commander for $10 at London Drugs the weekend before.

Between Steam weekend deals and the deals I find around town, I have more games than I can possibly really play right now lol.

Is grid still 50% off? Steam registers grid as $29.99 regular price.

I seem to have missed it
