Default Cryostasis Help

Hey guys, I'm fairly close to the beginning of the game. I'm presently in the ship, in a lower portion. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get out of wheere I'm at.
Their is a door / hatch with two large beams laying against it and a light fixture above it, but cannot seem to move the boards nor climb up the Boards to the next level...?
Thier is also a dead guy on the floor and a pile of frozen ice in the corner.
All I have is the lock n chain...ring a bell with anyone?

Don't exactly remember the part you're stuck at... kinda.
May be able to help if you post a screenshot.

Is that somewhere you have to touch the dead guy? Wrong

I think I remember where you are at. Did I have to climb the board?
I think this is what I used; Cryostasis: The Sleep of Reason: Walkthrough - GamersHell.com

Thanks guys...thier is two large beams wedged on an angle against a door / hatch...I was able to "walk-up" the beams, but I cannot seem to be able to make the transition from the top of the Beams to the steel catwalk...damn odd?!
