I just got it... Just hate how It's taking a while to rank up. I want an AK :(. If you guys know any servers for newplayers let me know because I'm getting destroyed -_-.

I thought those games came with a level 8 max server so lowbies could level a bit first. Reguardless just be cheap, find a corner and camp it untill you level up, I got my brother up to level 25 on W@W on the Ps3 in 3 days by knifing and camping =P. Camping is not cheap its a completely viable tactic when you have nothing else at your disposal.

See this is one of my biggest grips about this game. It is one of the most unbalanced FPS multiplayers I have ever played. And I have played a lot.

COD4 and CODWaw (especially) is full of campers. There is no such thing as run/gun anymore.

However if you want to play, I'm always up for a few rounds.

Tip for new players, grab a M16 and use stopping power + steady aim to play on Hardcore servers. You'll level up in no time, and don't be afraid to shoot from the hip at close range

EDIT: Head to ACC or Seattlebandits, they're usually alright in skill

AK is easy to get, golden ak is where its at.

if you want to rank up really fast, play a 40man killhouse server and do each weapon challenge, itll be boring as hell but you can easily get to level 35 in a day

after that just play TDM or SnD

Or just use a hack like most are these days and getting away with it, PB as all but abandoned COD4 since COD WOW came out.

This is what i hated about this series, atleast battlefield made it so that a max level and a newb could play against eachother pretty well as equals but the higher level would be more use in a squad situation where as the lowbie had to concentrate more on 1 vs 1 combat till he got a few points to spend. This game just pits lowbies against people with basically 1-2 shot kill weapons that are pretty well full auto, thats completely unbalanced and makes for a lame gaming experience imo. They should have added more mid point servers that limited levels to within 10 levels so that people could play closer to their skill level without getting completely evisorated.

This isn't really true... When you first start off you still have a MP5 which most people level 55 use all the time, I don't remember exactly when you get a AK/M4 because I got my level 55 a few years ago, but it dosent take that long (.

The only "advantage" higher ranked people have is that they have more perks to use.

The only gun I use that is ranked high is the Desert Eagle
