Steam has just announced it will be letting people play the full pull of L4D plus the "Survival Pack DLC" Start your pre-load now if you have no girl....er better things to do Friday.

Damn, I didn't realize it was GMT. Duh! Oh well, I guess most peeps in Europe will have time to test it. I logged only 20 minutes in the single player, the multi didn't want to connect for some reason and it's 10 minutes to five in the AM here so it looks like s a wasted DL for me. Oh well.

I think I'll opt for Fallout 3 instead. I got bored with the single player almost right away. Back to my ETQW!. :)

Bah, thought you meant newegg.ca. It's $35 without shipping on there.

Well, not sure I want to get it. I had lots of fun playing last night, but... I don't know. It just seems like a Half-Life 2 mod, though admittedly I have not played coop or single-player, just the versus mode. The novelty seems like it would wear off pretty soon.

Downloaded the free trail thought it was a hoot. So I checked prices out and it's on sale at FS for 29.99. But I just noticed that Steam has a 40% off sale for L4D and it includes the DLC Survival. So I bought it from steam and after the conversion it came to 29.35 CAD. So I saved quite a bit buying from Steam vice buying it from FS plus it has the DLC that you don't get with the retail.

Hm I am tempted. The price is right, that's for sure. I will DL the trial later and maybe have a go online, although I fear my n00bness to the game will only aggravate my interweb teammates lol.
