I think if you liked RTCW you'll like this game. It's straight up shooter with a touch of an element of RPG. Graphics to me look identical to RTCW with maybe my video card allowing some nicer features like AA, etc. It should play excellent on low end machines as well.

The story line has the typical RTCW feel to it and I've got no complaints. During the game you can hunt for "intel" or "gold" or "tomes". Reaching certain levels of recovered items unlocks certain abilities or making it to a point in a storyline.

If you like hunting for items endlessly on levels then you'll LOVE this. If you're like me and go thru the level, find what you can, and then "cheat" to find the rest of the missing tomes/gold/intel you'll want to look up videos from a guy named "coverop" on youtube. Some of those tomes/gold/intel I would NEVER have found.

Thing i disliked about the online in this is it was poorly thrown together i mean look at the sprint animation... your gun magically jumps across the screen to a run position no moving it there just bam jump. and on often occasions i got to reload the Rocket launcher and it loads like 3 times.

I loved the rtcw multiplayer and then enemy territory. This one here doesn't follow their foot steps; but walks with the COD bunch.
Anyway, probably a nice single player, just not what I'd wished for.

There was only one copy at EB Games so I bought it for $60.

The game is good, but not great. The head bob is annoying at times. It doesn't seem to have AA and I can't force it on - it makes no difference when it is set to force AA. Because of no AA, the game runs great on my system - I'm using windows 7 RC for gaming these days.

Definitely some good visuals, even with no AA, and it has some fun weapons that kill in cool ways, but my advice would be to wait until it comes down in price before you buy.

I saw it in WalMart yesterday $58.88...have a hard time spending more than $49.99 for a PC game....I'll likely bight the bullet and get it as I've been looking forward to it...

The graphics are hit and miss. Storey is okay. But the thing you spend most of your time doing, killing Nazi's, is great. Shield powers are cool. Physics are awesome. Nazi's come apart like Soldier of Fortune. Boss battles are fun, not frustrating.

Im interested in this game, but I'll likely hold out until the first wave of price drops. I'm more interested in the multiplayer aspect of the game than the single player, and I've heard they're going to be releasing a major MP patch in the near future, so we'll see how that goes. For now though, it doesn't hold a candle to AA3.

I've been recently picking up a few older games to play multiplayer like Sins and WiC. And for FPS, Battlefield Heroes is mind numbing enough for now, when I need a break from AA3.
