Battlefield Heroes open beta
 

Hey all. Just wanted to let everyone know that EA's Battlefield Heroes has started issuing open beta keys for it's new multiplayer combat game today. It looks very similar to Team Fortress 2 and from videos I've seen they've amped up the comic relief to new highs.

It's really like TF2 + planes/tank/jeep

Yeah it is pretty fun but only for a short while because there isn't enough variety.

wow looks prety neet,i printed off my beta key im gonna have 2 find it and give it a go

Lack of content really makes this game hurt.

Yup, I played it for a couple nights then got bored of it.

Also, when I was trying it, it required UAC to be enabled and I had to launch it from IE running with admin permissions. Though that was when it was still "closed" beta, so is that fixed now?

Well I lunchit from firefox just fine but not sure about UAC cause I just leave it on

No key for me :( I applied yesterday..maybe I need to be more patient..:whistle:

Is it still going to be free ? I seriously hope, that if it still is, I won't have tons of billboard ads in my game... :whistle:

getting to dogfight in it has me sold on it.
