Games are like old socks & underwear

Is it just me, or does everyone have a bunch of old games taking up a ton of space on their hard drives that they just can't bring themselves to uninstall? It's like my underwear drawer...I have a bunch of worn out old socks and underwear I should throw away, but I just keep hanging onto them.

With new games coming out every month, I just don't have time to revisit/replay games I've already played through. I keep thinking I'll take another run through Bioshock, or Crysis or Fallout 3, but who am I kidding? Time for a purge...

Hell I have like damn near all of the classic Sierra adventure games, Police Quest, King's Quest, Space Quest, Quest for Glory, etc. Hell then there is the original Duke Nukems 1 & 2, all of the Commander Keen games and countless others.

Heck I just checked and my games folder is 144GB large. Now yes most of that space are newer games like Fallout 3, Farcry 2, Crysis: Warhead, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, and such, but tons of it are older games. Man now I want to play them all again. Darn it I need to retire so I can just play these games.

Same here.

Outside of a few critical apps (like Open Office, screen capture, etc......) if I haven't used a game/program for more than a month it gets uninstalled. Chances are there will be a new(er) version of it if I need it again so I might as well install it from scratch when/if I need it.

(That's probably why I have no problem living with a 250G HDD :) )

Considering I'm bored of a game withing 15-20 mins.. they don't last long on my system.

Fear 2 was the first game in a LONG time I finished but mostly cause 1) It was retardedly short 2) It was to easy

I have quite a few games on my desktop, but on my laptop I only have a couple at a time. I do play some games again but some I just never get the chance. Ah well, if I start running low on space I'll uninstall a bunch. But I don't see that happening for some time.

I'd agree if we're going PC-only, but Okami blew me away both on PS2 and Wii.
