Default Any good ARPG/RPG's??

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good action RPG's, something like Hellgate: London, or along those lines. Every since it went under I've been looking for a fix but I just can't find one anywhere. I even tried Sacred 2 but was not impressed at all. So if anyone has any ideas then please feel free to post them! .

Cheers!

That's a strategy game.

OP, You need to play the Witcher or Mass Effect. Or Fallout 3.

lol...Yes I was. Hellgate's fast paced action and community(though very small!) just got me hooked. Sacred 2 just didn't do it for me, MP was very drab IMO.

Forgot to say that I would like the game to be online MP.

well even if you like mp I would suggest Mass Effect, that game was one of the best RPGs i ever played. Now if you are looking for MP then you have to go with MMOs but none of them are really action oriented, wait for these to come out they should be fun all round.

Champions Online
DC Universe Online
The Agency
Diablo III

I really cannot think of anything else right now.

For some reason I just cant bring my self to buy the witcher, its everything in a game that I dont like about RPGs, atleast from the pictures and movies ive seen of it. I also really liked hellgate london, it was different and it was kind of nice to get back to a FPRPG sort of idea again. Ive been searching for a game like you and have yet to find anything that really stuck for me. Fallout 3 was good but only for maybe a week max, its way to short, had a ton of potential but once I beat a game like that I dont feel like doing it again. Diablo 3 should be pretty epic, but I doubt we will see it till next summer. have you tried oblivion yet? its not totaly action RPG but it was good for a month or so of gaming.

You are really missing out then. It is the best RPG that has been released in years.

Maybe I didn't give it enough time, but I was not impressed with witcher. I've never been a fan of "cut scene" rpgs. I much prefer open ended / free range games like Oblivion.

The game is good.. but it gets way to much credit. Its a very repetitive game with a storyline imho and I lost interest 1/2 way through because of this.
