She totaly does!

Ugh Vsync is defaulted on? thanks for that I should have checked around more. I personally think the textures in this game look better then crysis does, it may not have the same motion effects and character model detail but the suroundings look awesome. This is the graphic vs gameplay trade off that I love in a game.

Still sitting on my shelf. Loved the first one and the demo was good too. Just ... can't ... stop ... playing ... Dawn of War 1 ... and ... Red Alert 3 ... must ... resist.

Finally spent a bit of time on this. Seems like I am just motoring along through it without much problem. Dead Space is way freakier so far. But I am certainly enjoying this. Haven't played an FPS for a while. All these 3rd person and RTS games taking up all my time lately.

I never really liked deadspace, i think it was more the play style for me. It was too ... sluggish I guess. nice atmosphere though.

Ya that bugged me too about Dead Space but somehow the scares in FEAR 2 just aren't having the same effect. Admittedly the demo had me pretty creeped out so maybe it will ramp up?

The action is decent though. Much like the first FEAR. But why can't I map my grenades to my mouse. I always have nades as a mouse thumb button in FPS. Scrambling for G and hitting F at the same time is pissing me off. Who knows maybe it helps, blind enemies with my flashlight so they don't see the nade coming, lol. I'm gonna snoop through the config files see if I can tweak it.

Ha Ha! So key/mouse bindings are retardedly absent from cfg's. Luckily some guy made a handy little tool (X-Mouse Button Control) that let's you map keys to mouse buttons in specific applications, such as mapping G to Mouse 4 (Left-X in X-Mouse) in FEAR 2. Works like a charm. :)

Yes the inability to Map all Mouse Buttons and no "Quick Save" feature are dissapointing for such a great game, particularly when these features were available in the first series. Great game play though and it does "ramp up" as you get further in.....

Ohh, I really want to play it now.

I remember playing the first one with big headphones on, not a single light in the house on, no one else around at all, not even a moon in the night sky outside. That computer was right next to a big sliding glass door, and that door looked like a pitch-black portal to hell while I was sitting there playing. Added to the tension. Normally played it sometime after midnight, too, to be sure there wouldn't be any interruptions.

I must say, that was the single scariest game I've ever played, and I haven't even touched the more recent additions to the genre.
