Yup, that's pretty much how it feels to me. I personally haven't even played it for a few days since I started STALKER: Call of Pripyat and I've been busy with other things.

So far, so good, i love the game. No big change from the first one, and i like it this way. However, for the next one, they will have to be more original for the gameplay or the scenery. I am thinking of a prequel.

i beat the game.

it gets fun when you start using drill specialist, other than that i don't have much problems with the game except one.
WHY do mobs spawn in the same room as you?! I turn around, and all of a sudden im getting shot from a place i just cleared, and it's a dead end too. It really ruins the experience when things obviously spawn from dead ends right behind you.

You know what..I've played about 20 minutes of this game...and had put it down without regret...

I don't know, this new bioshock just doesn't have the same kind of pull the first one did.

it took e a good 2 hours to get into it.

but yea, it doesn't have the same pull, i remember the first game having a lot more secret passages, hidden items and such, this one is pretty lame when it comes down to that, and the story is much worse.

Just finished the game, quite satisfied. I think it's useless to consider if the game is worth or not by comparing it to its predecessor. I am quite satisfied with the story, although they kinda focused it too much on Eleanor, imo.

I played the evil way and liked the ending cinematics.

Good game, good game. I just feel like we waited too much for the game release, probably because of the (useless?) multiplayer mode. I'll play a little more multiplayer and see if it's really crappy or was just a first impression.

I thought the story was good for the most part, but toward the end it became a bit weak. I was expecting a twist of some kind, but the plot was pretty straightforward all the way through.

Agreed, if it wasnt for all the journals we find that makes us constantly learn more about the twisted minds of rapture, i would have given it a huge "meh"

Yeah, but because of the journals, I was expecting something interesting to happen with Sinclair, or even the guy who was responsible for flooding Dionysus Park (I don't remember his name). The end was also a bit anticlimactic, I found.

Agreed again, Zero. I think they focused a little too much on eleanor. There were much more interesting characters (like Sinclair or Stanley) that could have been much more developped, like Gil Alexandre has been in the story.
