Default Counterstrike source weird loading times...

Hi all,
I had bought Counterstrike source a while back (about a month ago) and I have hardly played it (about twice). Today I tried to connect to a server (a zombie server) and it was loading for a very long time... (its still loading as I type this thread). lets just put it this way, it takes a very long time. It shows what are loading and stuff like that, its just, Is this normal? and Will it do this all the time? or only when im connecting to a certain server for the first time?
Thanks.
Shayan.

Since it's a zombie server, it needs to download all the scripts, maps, models, sounds, etc. It's normal to take a long time if it's your first time joining a ZM server.

There's a TON of things to download in a zombie server.
Map files alone can be 50MB. Not to mention skins, sounds, etc.

Zombie server downloads can be upwards of 20 minutes to download everything if you have never played that map and have never played ZM before. I only played on them once and never ever again.
