When I play L4D, I consider a death as a loss (unless you were sacrificing yourself for the team), but when the entire team dies and you have to restart that section, I definitely feel as though I have lost that round though I still keep playing. When I say I "beat" the campaign, I mean I did it without ever dying. That way it makes the game a little more fun because you don't have unlimited retries.

We must have somw resident ''expert'' L4Ders.

Does a hunter on fire really do 3 times the damage for a pounce ?

There was an analysis on the official steam forums. It's just under twice as fast. something like 1.8 times or similar. Doesn't affect initial pounce damage, that's based on distance travelled.

As a hunter height does more damange up to 25 points if you can get high enough

Fire will make you do twice as much damage during nipple twisting.

ok so, height damage first, then get on fire if possible. Good.

This is going to be fixed in an up-coming patch or it is something the game creators wanted ?

Also, is the shotgun better than the Uzi ? Cause it seems everyone takes the shotgun and I tend to prefer the UZI....

I prefer the automatic shotgun myself. Reload time sucks but the area effect on a horde of zombies can't be beat.

Personally, I find the most pointless weapon to be the sniper rifle.

Finally beat the Single Player Farmhouse Finale on Expert last night. MAN, running through the cornfield is harrowing.

Uzi is good for throwing bullets into zombies where its one or two.

Nothing beats the auto shotty or the m-16 for when there is a lot of zombies at once.

Depending on map I'll either choose the M16 or Shotty

The only issue I run into is hitting teammates every now and then with the spray of bullets from the auto shotgun.

Yeah I take the m-16 when I can,

I meant at the start of the 1st episode, when the only choice is uzi or single shot-shogtun, everyone seems to favor the shotgun, is there a real advantage or not above the uzi ? Once you get access to second level guns, the M-16 is way better or auto shotgun if you know you have a witch and/or tank.

Single player was great, but online is where the fun really begins.......
