My System Specs

Default CoD WaW (PC)

Just curious as to whether anyone has picked up the full version and tried it out yet.

I wasn't planning on getting it after being very disappointed with the beta, but the few reviews I've seen have so far been very positive.

Main points I'm curious about are:

Is the sound better than it was in the beta?
Is the gameplay smoother? ie: more like CoD4's than the sluggish movement from the beta?
Did they balance out the guns? (maybe they fixed that in the 1.1 patch)

Particularly interested in the MP aspects as that's where I'll spend all my time after finishing the SP campaign.

This is one I am looking to pick up - as to feeling like COD4, it should because it uses the same engine - what they did was take COD4 and tweak it with a WWII theme, much like Windows 7 being a new skin to VISTA ;=)

Ive got the game for my xbox 360. It's really fun, and i like it alot more than i do CoD4 (mostly because i prefer the WWII setting though)

I got the game yesterday and beat it yesterday. So you can tell it is a short single player, but it smokes COD4's SP by a very long shot! I love WaW's single player so much I might play it through a couple of times and there is co-op too. Haven't tried out multi but there are a lot more game modes to play. I really recommend this game.

Sigh. Downloading patch 1.1 now... 318MB. I seriously have no idea why I keep on expecting these games to come in working order out of the box.

Co-op Zombie survival almost makes the game worth purchasing on it's own. Get four friends together and try it out.

This is the game I'll be setting a server up for HWC when I'm back from my tour on the road (end of next week) so we should all be able to get in and enjoy some fun!
