Default Icon Trouble!!!
Hey guys,
This is such a nooby question, but can anybody help me with this lil prob I have.
Well, I have gears of war and the icon on my desktop for the shortcut doesnt have a picture and its just a window and it looks very ugly :) Im wondering how to change it to the skull with a gear on it icon. I googled it and i got a site with it but I dont know how to get it. PLEASE HELP!!!

Right click on the icon, choose properties from the pop-up menu then click the change icon button.

right click on the icon and choose 'save image' save it to your GoW folder.

i did that then when i click the change icon on the shortcut properties, it says no icons could be found, maybe my link is bad, could u please send me a link maybe
I just want to learn how.

You can save this: http://www.iconarchive.com/download/...ar-Skull-2.ico
Then, as Squeetard already said, right click on the icon and go to Properties and click on Change Icon.. Select the picture you saved, open it, and then you should be able to change it to that icon.
