I play on the Snakes and Snot server a lot. Good bunch of guys over, there, and I have never had a problem with lag/ping times (I am in Halifax).

Just do a server search for Snakes and Snot (I think the server name is House of Fun).

Cheers.

i tried playing COD4 online a few times but learning curve was a wee bit steep. I couldn't seem to find anywhere to get the hang of things without getting kill in 5 seconds.... If anyone knew a good newb/beginner server I would love playing again and actually being able to figure out what I am doing....

There really isn't any noob beginner servers, you'll have to just get used to it for awhile heh, try not to stick in one area too long as you are showing up on the radar, and just do your best not to get frustrated. Once you level up and can get some good perks and weps you'll do better. It just takes time.

Canadian Shire is a pretty good server if you like HC.

@ Twysted: Try the WOLF server (Warriors of Legendary Fighting) - one of the easier TDM servers I've found to rack up a decent score on.

There's also a bot mod that someone released where you can play the mp maps with bots taking the place of human players. You could set their skill level low and practice on them. Learning the maps is probably the biggest factor in doing well in MP.

did you play single player first?

another tip: make sure your gaming environment is comfortable: your mouse, keyboard, chair, room temperature etc all of these can hinder your performance.

I'm here every night basically, usually drinking in some way. Great fun server, you can have fun, swear, but just no Marty or cheating in any way. Most of us are from the Vancouver/seattle region. {LLC} Living Life Casually: News
