Default Beyond CounterStrike:Source

I've been playing Counterstrike forever, but I feel its time to move on. Got 4870 and new keypad, reinstalled Vista 64.

Is there anything similar to Counterstrike, but with better graphics/world/maps? I only play multiplayer. I enjoyed Battlefield 2 (until it stopped running in Vista) and a bit of AA. I liked UT original, but with each iteration of UT i like it less and less. UT3 is complete turn off for me. Did not understand World in Conflict, concept is strange.

Suggestions?

COD4 is a great game, but I still can't give up on CS:S even if I try

I'm always rapidly bored by single player game. I played 5 hours of Far Cry 2 before giving up. Bioshock was an exception for me. On the multiplayer side, even if I try a new game , I'm always returning to CS:S

I think I will stop playing CS:S when D3 will come out!

as a long time CS player, the only game that has come close to occupying my time as much as CS is TF2... So much fun, but it may not be to your liking due to the unrealistic weapons and such.

I found cod4 to be too much of an adjustment from css to get into it, css was just so much simpler. Personally atm i usually play combat arms, its a free to dl and play fps. Its buggy, its not amazing, but for being free its great.

I'll check out Combat Arms, thanks for suggestion. I see it is DirectX 9 game. Won't heat up my 4870, I guess. Is there any voice chat in Combat Arms? In CS:S it was crucial to have good coordination with your team mates.
I played American Army for a while. Strange experience. It is very realistic, slow, but fun factor is still there if you play in a good team.

Because CS:S is IMO the best FPS online multiplayer. Not only for being extremely balanced (unlike COD4), it is very simple and easy for first timers, and is a really really fun game.
