This is cool. An interactive game based on footage from Far Cry 2. I chose to take the 1st mission and boy... what an ending lol. Some cool stuff you'll be able to do in the real game that's for sure.

Far Cry was an ok from what I managed to play of it... it looks ok running on my system at the time but getting it to look just ok made it run like ass. So I never really got into it due to crashing and just dismal framerates. I am a little confused about this sequel because I don't know how it actually ties into the story of the first one. And the first one takes place on a remote island and this one takes place in Africa... To much stuff not adding up for me. Maybe if someone explains some stuff to me but at this point I am having trouble being to excited about this game.

That's because you're too busy being excited about your new rig.

As far as i know, this has nothing to do with the original, it is just another adventure for Jack carver. Here are some features that hope to separate this from the pack.

Totally open ended. Go anywhere, do anything. Drive, fly.

Procedural storyline. The plot totally changes based on what you do. The story is totally software authored, something not done before. Apparently won't play the same way twice.

just fine on your rig. Prolly not max settings but you'll play smooth with some eye candy on.

Yes Far Cry 2!!!

It was the original Far Cry that made me buy my first graphics card for my tired old budget system.

I could play it but my system was borderline and multiple enemies killed my system when I used the night vision.

So I bought my first true gaming rig and the rest is history.

Pre Ordered on Steam.

Who has booked time off work to play it next week??
