I second that question an so take half the stupidity of it onto myself. I think it has something to do with registering it so it can't be used on other machines but I could be wrong...

Edit: Google FTW Digital Rights Management. Basically restricting the number of times it can be installed on a certain machine because they think it will cut down on pirating... sigh

DRM will not stop even one pirater. For games like RA3 I will not reinstall to many times anyway as those games can get boring after awhile. I don't mind DRM as long as it doesn't affect my system.

I disagree, I've easily played through Red Alert (let alone every other C&C) a good 6 times, I'm hooked on the C&C story line.

Ahh, ok. Thanks. I doubt it will be an issue for me, considering I just built a new computer, I doubt I'll be switching anytime soon. However, I would agree that it is a rather annoying concept.

Hrmm, today is the 27th and no release in sight. Looking like the date has been pushed until the 30th.

Cheers.

People claim to have it, not sure if it's retail or the 'special extended trial version' though. I'm hitting the stores in 5minutes!
