I have long been a fan of the Diabloesque games. Played all the Diablos through, Divine Divinity and Titan Quest and Immortal throne. I looked a Sacred, meh, but if they come through on the graphics and gameplay, then I am in. I looked at the Loki game, not bad, but I hate not being able to move my camera... that bit in TQ drives me nuts.

Copy protection revealed - Sacred/Sacred Underworld Official International Forum

My interest in looking for the game when it first comes out just dropped to zilch.

I'll have a look a couple of months after it's released to see how folks who purchase legit copies make out.

Its up to companies like Stardock to prove to companies like EA that you will sell more if you dont include crap DRM

I plan on playing it, It looks like it could be good to me! I don't like SecuRom, but I'm still going to play a game even if it does have it.

Get back to us and let us know how well it behaves please.

I don't like anything that runs in the background, so what I'm most interested in is if the secuRom service is indeed only run during activation. If so, I can live with that (and the activation issues they're talking about at the end of the thread I linked to), but if the game will not run without it getting its meathooks into my OS it won't be installed on it.
