Isn't that...ummm...overkill? I'd say it's more of a proof-of-concept type of project... just to say that it can be done. That puppy probably needs a 220v hookup.

That has got to be the messiest rig I have ever seen. What is it, two computers in one case? I see two motherboards, 4 psus, 8 9800gx2s, and millions of cables.

But impressive none the less.

it look like the montain mod dual cube case. which can hold 2 dedicated computer

im also seeing 4 psu, 2 mobo and 8 9800gx2 with million feet of cables

Hmmm... i never thought about that. It might only be considered 8 GPU's/PC, if it's on 2 mobos. I wonder if both sides are attached via one- big-@ss SLI bridge? If not, i doubt that one side could render 1/2 and the other side render the second half.

A little excessive maybe, just a smidge overboard I think. But dam () if it ain't sweet. Could you imagine the folding and crunching one could do with that? not to mention the gaming.

gamaing should not be that impressive since you cant get higher performance then a quad sli system . in this case it will only use 2 9800gx2 the 2 other will idle

but on F@H im sure this beast can push impressive numbers
