I've put a trip to MemX on the list for monday morning , to take mr striker back.Now , the warantee is long gone , so RMA is out , but I can still send it back.....

I'll be making a cd of the destruction pics to go along with it.

The look on the RMA guy's face... it'd be priceless.
Take it into MemX and ask for a warranty to see the look on someone's face. Video tape it if you can.

This way you (we) at least have an idea of how ASUS will look when they open it.

Actually the RMA department deals with that all the time - they are human after all and end-users too so they just laugh it off - I'm sure NVIDIA deals with that too with their exploding chipsets ;-)
