Default First loop

Well heres a simple loop installed with the help of forum members- posts, and guides. First time for me!! This is based on the "Vortex solution" (see threads for components). Was not too bad setting it up, need to do some extra cable management middle right..Temperatures are 10oc down on the TRU-X at high oc's i.e. 3.8 with 1.42 vcore (~48oc in Orthos). The combination of powerful pump and NF P12 fans gives it a nice kick....plus the 7/16th tubing on half inch barbs gives a safe and snug seal after immersion in hot water.

BTW Do not use the apogee GT block+packaged mount screws with a TRU-X backplate---also it takes a lot of effort to get the air out when the "res" is level with the block, had to unmount the radiator/res turn the case onto its side and hold the res/radiator above it to get the final air pockets out...all the time while pumping.

Well done! Looks great too! The best part about my solution is it is very easy to change parts around. Easy to take the mobo out, CPU, videocards, and RAM. A nice and easy but powerfull kit!

Wow man...Biff...that is, once again a sick looking case. The ONLY thing that I don't like in it is that you've used the matte black for the cases insides. Now scratches, scuffs and so on are easily visible.....But hell....I wish I could make build like that!

Some benching in cold water. I just dunk my two heatercores in ice bath, quick and easy for that little extra. Temp probe in rad fins.

Yeah, I really like the look of the flat black but it didn't dawn on me how well it wears until it was already done. I should have seen it coming although they are not as bad in real life as the camera makes it look in the pics. I don't think there's any quick fixes and I'm not repainting as that would require me to disassemble the chassis again. Next time I'll probably use gloss but I want to see how well semi-gloss wears.
