My System Specs

Default Build for my Purolator Driver

After Much Debate and long conversations over the past months, I finished the build for my regular Purolator Driver.

I have to Admit, I fell in desperate love with the CM Scout.
It is an amazing Case (although a Little tight around the front PSU area).

Stats are:
Gigabyte MA790FXT-UD5P
AMD Phenom II X4 955
Corsair XMS3 2X2GB 1333
Ultra X3 1000W PSU
XFX 4870 1GB
WD 640 Black Edition
Lite-On OEM DVD Drive
ZEROTherm Nirvana NV-120 CPU Cooler
CM Scout Mid-Tower

Enjoy! Forgive the poor Quality Pics , its my BB after all.

How is that tower heatsink? Looks pretty tight in there.

I'll get the total cost of the system tommorow once I have a little more time.

The tower Cooler was tight, had to remove the top 140mm for Installation, otherwise however it went in and fits perfectly for the case.
I'll be putting it through its paces in about 20min once I get all the other drivers installed.
So far its idling at 22 in the basement (ambient 18).
I love the case, and the hardware, really easy to work with.

Looks great, in all honesty though i was expecting to see some small rig that would be mounted/put into his truck so he could use it when he was on the road, but that was the nerd side of me

Since it's for your courier, are you going to rough it up a little bit before you give it to him????

Yeah its overkill on the PSU A bit, but the 1KW was on a brief sale for less than the 850 Ultra X3, so I figured why not right?

Looks like only 4 pictures are showing for me right now at work , so maybe site is having a bad day lol!

@SS - nahhh he's been really good to my stuff so I'll treat his nice.

So Tally is:

Ultra X3 - 199.99
XFX 4870 - 214.99 (After MIR from Tiger)
4GB Corsair XMS3 - 98.99
Gigabyte Board - 204.99
Phenom II 955 - 276.99 (Infonec - Sale)
WD Black - 56.99 (One Day Sale, Infonec)
Lite-On OEM DVD - 15.99
CM Scout - 119.99
ZEROTherm NV-120 69.99

Total: 1258.91

Its in i7 Territory for End Cost , however he wanted AMD, and he got the highest End one there was.

Nice Soul.....as for the PSU..imo, better to go overkill then too "light"...sucks having to replace a PSU everytime you decide to upgrade....buy once save big in the end!!

Ick - Ultra :puke:

Otherwise slick looking build
Wish I had that kind of relationship with my delivery driver. Would help greatly in not having to drive to another city to pickup my parcels every time
