Default New Home.

I just got this NZXT Lexa Blackline case and decided to show it off a little. Definitely more room that the old beige box. I know it isn't as pretty as some of the others here but I got a good deal on it and threw in the Antec Trupower Quattro 850 for good measure.

The Lexa before.

The drives in.

Crappy picture of the Antec but it is nice to have 72a on the 12v rails.

Ready to rock.

In action, should have turned the flash off.

Yes, my external cabling is a wonder to behold. I will say that it runs really quiet now which is a good thing. I don't have the probes hooked up right now because they are more gimick than useful but that may change. I don't have the back cage on either because its just window dressing to me.

You probably have the aluminum Lexa, which is more expensive. The Blacklines are all steel, 1.0mm construction. They're like Model Ts too, you can have them any colour you want so long as its black. The only option with these is either red or blue fans and lighting accents. Pretty spacious case all in all.

Thanks for the kudos though.

Wow I wasn't aware they made a steel one. How much does the steel one weigh? the alu one says 5.8kg...but it being steel would also explain why I tohught it looked a bit off...and no plastic back cover for the case?

The steel one came out last year and probably weighs in at 11.5kg empty. The thing weighs in at probably double that now. Those Antec power supplies are heavy on their own.

Yeah, I just put one in the build with the Palit 4870(in a CM690)...while I tend to stay far away from Antec PSUs, at least Antec had the foresight to include a 14ga power cable, while the OCZ 850 comes with 18ga power cable....nevermind the weight difference...

And I WISH mine had come with red fans...

Sorry, you mentioned the back cage, I left it off. It was a case of form over function and function won.

Pretty good cable management. However, it's time to get those IDE devices out of there!

^^As he said.. IDE is now getting old standard, SATA drives are much more affordable and run quite better.
