I was fooling around with these last week while doing a bit of testing...and DO NOT install over 8.7 in Vista.

It is great to see the amound of bug fixes in these.

I read through it quickly but didn't see anything relating to the fan issue on 48xx models.

Has anyone tried on a 4850 or 4870 ?

No? I installed 8.7 over 8.6 in vista and it was ok. Will take your advice tho, driver problems suck.

I usually uninstall the old ones, then run driver cleaner, then CCleaner, then install new ones.
