Yah already have them installed and 1 thing seems to be fixed for me.. I hope .. I haven't seen it rear its ugly head yet.

For some reason previous driver releases I would lose desktop transparency and things would go black.

Yet to see this!

It runs BIOSHOCK in VISTA very untable for me - mind you I haven'T tried with a previous driver as this is a new system and fresh install - keep getting dumped to desktop with an instruction error cannot write to emory location 0x0000 type every now and then in BIOSHOCK.

Almost sounds like your GPU memory is overheating or is running at an unstable OC. Have you tried scanning the card for temps artifacts in ATI tool?

Card is perfectly fine.

And using these drivers guess what... No more problems with desktop transparency *cross fingers * * knocks on wood*

I put these drivers on last night, I've got points today so it must be working.

Yes, as a matter of fact I did! I just installed Vista cause I got sick of the 100% CPU usage while running both CPU and GPU F@H....Now CPU usage is down to 60%.

So after checking the F@H forums I downloaded the latest 6.12beta11 for the CPU and GPU and installed 177.79 drivers. No issues so far, no need to get that separate .inf file and PPD seem to have gone up by like 1100 points....on several different projects! It takes like 2,5 hours now for one WU whereas before it took like 6 hours! WOOHOO!

Looks like it's all positive! Haven't done any gaming yet though!

GeForce PhysX support for more GPUs including 8 series will be available in August through a PhysX driver update.
