I haven't used the ATI tool however I've used GPUCaps and run it through a fur test with ALL settings maxed out, ran it for 3 hours solid and monitored my temps from time to time - the test puts 100% load on both CPU cores and the GPU at the same time, and visually I didn't see any artifacts, it didn't crash, the GPU, GPU ambiant and GPU memory temps were all fine - definately not an overheating issue in thsi case - I've run the FUR test, HDR, Shaders test, you name it, any memory errors or issues would have shown right away - I will give the ATI tool a try - I wonder why NVIDIA removed the GPU stability tester / artifact scanner it had in previous forceware driver....
