Default 64-bit woes

I recently upgraded (or downgraded, depending on your opinion) to Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Unfortunately, my wireless networking card's (Ralink RT73 USB chipset) installation disc does not contain the 64-bit drivers for the adapter. I have looked around the internet but I am not sure which driver to download and have only a few dvd-r's to transport the drivers so I don't want to waste them on the wrong drivers. Suggestions?

According to a linux driver site, the RT73 is also known as the RT2571 chip set. The link below shows a Vista 64 driver for the RT2571 (10/26/2007). That's the one I would try.

Ralink Technology: Windows

Good luck.

P.S. Here's another good 64 bit site. 64bit - x64 - Home

Everything I have worked out of the box w/ Vista x64. I didn't have to download or install a single driver myself, so I was quite impressed.

Sorry to hear about your woes, though. Hopefully that driver works out for you.

Worst case scenario, you can pick up a basic wireless networking card for like $30 that will work w/ Vista x64.
