Hi, I did not make myselg clear. (I have no intention to help set up a pirated copy, tho..) Anyway, "some" Jmicron chips are simply there for extra storage capacity, and can not boot. When you slipstream the drivers like we do with DpsBase, you can select that chip when you hooked a drive up to it, but when setup restarts, erm, nope, no cigar. If it is bootable, success. Tertiary (extra!) storage, or storage with E-sata connections are most often not bootable, and Jmicron is often used for that. Hook up the sata to another controller and you can rock and roll. Some PCI controllers are not meant to boot from either.. The manual won't, of course, emphasize that that chip cannot be booted off.. it will say it is there and adds capabilities,.. LOL.
